These hooks are specially designed for classrooms and offices as well as stores - virtually anyone who needs to hang things from the ceiling. The hooks for classrooms were designed to hold up 3.5 pounds but not 4 pounds. This is to avoid accidently putting too many hooks on the same piece of ceiling T-bar and overloading it. These hooks are great for offices and even homes, shops, restaurants, anywhere you need to hang things from a metal ceiling.
