This is the page where I will be showing all of the magnet jewelry I have been designing. Magnet jewelry is cool for several reasons - #1 is they are really cool to pull apart and play with and then they snap back together or to make a necklace when you are through playing with them. The #2 reason is that lots of people have reported significant reduction in arthritis pain when wearing magnets. I do not have arthiritis so I can't say from personal experience but lots of customers have told me how much it helps.

The magnet spheres have been the most widespread magnet used as jewelry and that is why I have a range of spheres from 5mm to 8mm in diameter and I have them plated with silver, gold and black epoxy. I now have some ellipsoids and cylinders that are magnetized in different directions to make really neat jewelry designs. A lot of people wear a necklace of 50 - 60 of the spheres, many customers wear the spheres as bracelets and a few like to use a sphere on the outside of their lip with a small disc magnet inside their lip to look just like they have had their lip pierced. It is great for the shock factor -especially grandparents who want to show their grandkids how cool grandpa is. The possibilities are endless.

The normal plating on magnets is about 0.3 to 0.5 microns thick layer of gold or silver. If you play with these a lot or carry them in a pocket (like I do), the plating can rub off. In normal jewelry use, they take a long time to run off. To provide a real jewelry appearance, I have started adding some spheres and the ellipsoids to my product line that are what I am calling jewelry grade magnets and they are plated with 2.5 microns of gold - yes that is real gold. These will be much more expensive because gold is expensive. These should keep their appearance for a long time and have an appearance like true gold.

Oval magnets - also called ellipsoids that have been magnetized through the small axis. The long axis is 10 mm and the small axis is 6mm. These are plated with 2.5 microns of gold and a typical bracelet (33 pieces) will cost $40.00 or 2 bracelets for $70.00.
